Emails from Lauren

If you’re tired of feeling lost and alone as a well-meaning step-parent, this is the place for you.

What if you could be a part of a community who is rethinking how to do family and step-parenting so you could feel less alone and hear stories from others who are on a similar path? Maybe you just want to know there are others out there with similar experiences or perhaps you want some new ideas for how to show up for yourself and your family as a step-parent.

My weekly emails offer some musings and anecdotes about my journey as a step-parent trying to figure out how to be a step-parent. You’ll also be the first to know about my latest offerings for step-parents!

Hi, I’m Lauren!

I am a Queer step-parent who never thought “parent” would be one of my roles. I have often felt lost and lonely on this journey and my work as a trauma-specialist has brought me in contact with others who feel the same. I want to help others in this community find each other to consider together how we can navigate the joys and messiness of step-parenting.
